Perhaps it’s more complex, like heritage and conventions,
patriarchal structures or  injustice?
Could it simply be memories, inherited down through generations.
Maybe it’s just a black hole?
A vacuum, a space where all the thoughts finally quiet down,
and something unknown takes over.

A subtle shift in the air, a small turn in direction.
Something different develops, a transformation of some kind.”
